The boarding parties showed it would clearly be in trouble anyway! The cruisers closed in on the carrier and it turned into a slugfest with – my right flank cruiser took two more hits and vaporized. On the right flank I got one hit on the marathon cruiser stand. I better get the carrier fast or this will look like the video game!!!! The right cruiser took its first hit and I could see the pelikans warming up to launch boarding parties…. My gambit was to rush the Epoch carrier echelon left and get close enough to punch big holes in it. No hits in either fleet but my right flank cruiser took a vulnerability… Turn one saw the heavy UNSC advantage in fighters as they swarmed forward. I was faced by Admiral Hood, his Spirit of Fire, an Epoch carrier and two marathon heavy cruisers… My boys in Purple are led by the Minister of Etiology – a rather middle of the road leader… Our new UNSC Spirit of Fire arrived from Spartan Games this past week and my son couldn’t wait to play our first fleet battles game in six months or so….
